Ron Balchandani founded AV Equity Partners® in 2020, and his guidance and strong principles drive the strategic development and direction of both the firm and its portfolio.

Early in his career, Mr. Balchandani was an active investor in smaller businesses. He developed his principles of integrity, grit, and determination fostering great relationships with partners and lenders. Mr. Balchandani's ability to continually execute larger transactions grew exponentially and made AV Equity one of the premier investment firms in the United States.

When it comes to his business, Mr. Balchandani applies philosophies of thorough due diligence, sound acquisitions, effective management, and adding value through creative operational improvement rather than financial engineering.

 

Prior to establishing AV Equity in 2020, he served as Director at Cornerstone Capital Holdings, where he led deal origination and portfolio oversight. His institutional track record includes directing the turnaround of a $1.2 billion family office portfolio in Los Angeles, heading business development for a West Coast firm focused on corporate carve-outs and special situations, and facilitating over $1.8 billion in commercial real estate financing at Walker & Dunlop.
 

A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Balchandani executed his first distressed acquisition at the age of 19, turning a failing enterprise profitable within twelve months. He completed his foundational studies in Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Syracuse University.
 

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Balchandani balances his executive responsibilities with philanthropic initiatives, including the development and expansion of an orphanage infrastructure program in West India.
